Administrative Setup

In a democratic system, people have an important contribution in development through decentralized planning. The work of collective thinking, discussion and guidance by the public is performed by the village panchayats at the village level, block committees at the block level, and district panchayats at the district level. Saran division has 52 development blocks (Saran – 20, Siwan-19,Gopalganj – 13) and 7 Tehsils (Saran – 03, Siwan-02, Gopalganj – 02).

There is also an effort to achieve social and economic goals with the combined efforts of public representatives, public servants and voluntary organizations. District decentralized system has an important role in the planning structure.
